“World Dementia Council” debates on Technology; with Ioannis Tarnanas CEO of Altoida
World Dementia Council, leading global action against Dementia, opens up a dialogue on technology.
Altoida has created an augmented reality application to diagnose Alzheimer and other cognitive related dementia up to 10 years prior the first symptoms. As the population is aging, these diseases are expected to increase. Today, patients are only diagnosed after symptoms, which leads to severe damages.
Altoida developed an application predicting Alzheimer’s disease risk through pre-symptomatic and computational biomarkers’ evaluation. The Augmented Reality Technology assessment is done on a tablet, at home or at the doctor’s office, which makes it easier for patients.
